Dark layer of cloud hanging over
Bolt of lightning hiding and seeking
Thunderous period pains anticipating
Forming, building up a storm of attack
Striking twice on a virgin
Leaving a virgin pure
Scorned curved by the lightning current
Current of glowing splint
Smelling the scent of the menstrual blood
Flowing on the underpants channels of the dead Red sea
Consuming, pricking, devouring the valleys of paralysis pain
Closing, shutting, blocking the flow of the broken water
Padlocking the tedious womb
Delivering triplets of a miscarriage
Celebrating the birth of celibacy drought
Drought resistant hunger of a pot belly
Three days upon the victorious victory
Seeds of semen planted
All over the infertile lands
Cultivated on a barren enslaved womb
A cell of womb filled with captives stillborn
Trying to break out of the psychotic prison
So that the voices from the dark can be heard
Speech of freedom entrapped on a cage
Cries of liberties
Shade of light shadowing brightly
Till the skies lose their virginity
Raped by the virgin tears of the rain
Jubilation tears that piss on the thirsty land
Giving birth to streams of species
Empowering the birds with voices to sing at an opera
Leaving trees showing off their brand new clothes
Animals ululating on the wedding of the mountains
Rivers, seas pregnant with fish
Fish adopted by man
Man having a banquet
When the skies lose their virginity
Everybody smile

Very descriptively depicted … Good work Mbkngeni. 🙂
amazing that a man can so beautifully write about the most precious and intimate times in a woman’s life, in an understanding and uplifting way.
